Jennifer Reason, host and creator of the weekly “Local Artist Feature” series on Sacramento’s CapRadio Classical and Jazz station (88.9FM) interviewed composer Nancy Bachmann about how she got her start in music and composition. She also asked Nancy to speak about the process of creating her debut Wild Swans album with clarinetist Diane Maltester. During the interview, Ms. Reason played Rumba from Latin Dances for Clarinet and Piano and the first two movements from American Quilt Sketches: Five Pointed Star and Log Cabin.
